    Description

Offered for sale is this striking bright blue collector's plate from the Royal Pavilion at Brighton, England. This beautiful destination was once the royal residence of the kings and queens of England for summer holiday.  It was used for this purpose until Queen Victoria changed her summer residence to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight.
The view of the exotic onion domes and minarets together with the cobalt blue crosshatch decoration and fluted white edge makes a most unique souvenir of this special place.  It measures 10-3/4" in diameter and appears to be unused.  The plate is made of ironstone and manufactured by Mason's of England.  The back of the plate states that the decoration is detergent-proof but I think this beautiful plate deserves pride of place on a wall or corner in need of decoration.
This plate would make a perfect gift for an Anglophile or that special person who loves unique objects and the color blue.
    Thank you for your consideration.
