With protected dust jacket.  1st. edition.   Note that this book is signed by Gardner "With all best wishes"  "Sept 1952"  as well as a group of signatures from Christmas 1952 which reads "From your gang at Arnolt's", a reference to the famous Arnolt Motor Co., followed by 6 signatures. One is Bud Seaverns, a noted race driver of that era.
